Exquisite tastes in a cozy atmosphere

In 2013, we opened the doors to Bark in Harstad with the wish to create a restaurant with a warm atmosphere, a focus on high-quality food, and excellent drinks to match. We were warmly welcomed by our wonderful guests.

After nine years, in December 2022, we took the leap and moved into a new and larger space at Larsneset. Here we enjoy a fantastic location right by the sea in the center of Harstad. The cozy atmosphere our restaurant has become known for has, of course, been carried over. But in addition—and perhaps in contrast—our guests now also get to enjoy a truly unique panoramic view of Vågsfjorden, the majestic mountains, and the magical Northern Norwegian light throughout all four seasons.

As our guest, you will also experience how our closeness to nature and love for food culture are reflected in the menu. We combine traditional comfort food with rich flavors, accompanied by fine wines and other beverages. In addition, we serve a variety of tapas dishes. Whenever possible, we take pride in offering produce from Northern Norway at its very best.
